This one is easy- COLORADO! My home, the place I was born and grew up, where my heart will always be! Oh how I long to live back in Colorado.
I was born in Denver on a Sunday morning when the Broncos were playing the San Diego Chargers. My Mom procrastinated on getting to the hospital and I was born 10 minutes after she arrived there. The doctor jokingly told her that she was just in a hurry to deliver me so she could still watch the game that afternoon. Am I still a Broncos fan...YES I AM!
It's hard to pick a favorite location there, because there are so many great places to visit. I love, love, loved living in Fort Collins while I attended Colorado State University and that would be the place I would live if I could choose to live anywhere. Well, maybe not right in the city, but one of the smaller rural communities surronding Fort Collins.
How funny..you told me you had a and c done but I couldn't figure out what c was going to be. Why not is beyond me!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to be going to Denver next week! :) Yahoo!
Sounds like a beautiful place, never been. I don't know why maybe because i was born on the east coast I tend to stick to visiting the states on in this area. Must branch out a bit!
ReplyDeleteI'm from the UK and have only ever made it as far as Florida. Would love to see more of America though and Colorado sounds wonderful. Thanks for a great post and good luck with the rest of the challenge ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the story of your birth day! How funny!!
ReplyDeleteI've traveled quite a bit but haven't made it to Colorado. My mom lived there for a while and loves it too. I must visit one day!!
Colorado always sounds so lovely. Love the story of your birth.
ReplyDeleteI like your birth story, how sweet! I've never been to the US (unless you count the 2 hours I spend in Miami while changing planes!) but have heard such lovely things about Colorado!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day!
