So far we are having a great Christmas Eve. We went sledding today at the forest. Austin is still not too crazy about playing in the snow, but seems to enjoy it more every time we go. Tonight we had grilled shrimp for dinner, and it was so yummy. We gave Austin his bath and put him in PJs, then we loaded up in the pickup and drove around looking at Christmas lights. Austin was wide awake the whole time and really made it fun when he would proclaim "Wow!" Tomorrow we are openning presents, heading to Church, then having lunch/dinner in the afternoon with friends. I am so very blessed!
This is the first year either of my boys have actually enjoyed going ans asked to go sledding... I cannot get them inside these days! Hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWe have been pulling Marlee in our yard, but haven't taken her to the football field (it's a bowl, so you can sled down the hill onto the field) yet. And the mountains are too far away for now...by the time we got there it would be time to play for a few minutes, and come home. We were hoping to take her sledding this weekend, but it has been in the negatives so it's way too cold to even walk outside pretty much.
