My question:
What color is the outside of your home?
Today I finally got to help my husband paint our house. He has worked so hard on it and got 3 of the 4 walls done before today. Today he was working on the front and was getting tired of it so since I had the day off work, but our daycare was open I dropped Austin off and came home and painted with him. Now our house is all blue. Over the weekend we will go over the white trim with a fresh coat and our house will be good as new. We also had a new roof put on two months ago. The best part was we got a lot of time to just talk while we painted and it was so nice! It's sad that in this day and age with our busy lives that we often don't take the time to have a heart to heart conversation. Aloha!
Off white. Pretty Boring, Huh?
ReplyDeleteKind of a creamy beige color and hunter green shakes...white trim.

White with dark grey shutters and doors . . . I love the color of my house, except the roof, that's a nasty shade of blue (metal roofing).
ReplyDeleteOh boy. The color of our house is mint green. (the neighbors call our house "the chocolate chip mint house")

Grey. I would love to redo the siding in a different color though.
ReplyDeleteOur house is cream (light and dark) with terracotta but we plan to paint it first week of December.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day
Ours used to be grayish-blue with black shutters and trim (I used to call it the Psycho House - it's 3 stories, built in 1817, so it looked ominous in those colors). We had it painted summer-before-last to an eggshell white (more creamy light beige) with hunter green shutters and trim...totally made a difference! Yours sounds great - and how cool you and your hubby got some quality time painting together! :)

An off white or kinda tan color.
ReplyDeleteI want the red house on the block, but dh isn't into painting.
ReplyDeleteHowever our home is brick...reddish outside and vinyl white.
Our apartment has yellow siding as well as red brick. The house we are in the process of buying has brown wood on the back and corners, white wood on the front and again red brick.
ReplyDeleteWe have blue aluminum siding on most of the house. Need to figure out something to do with the stucco areas that are not looking so great. Thinking of those faux marble/rock items that are now cropping up a lot.
ReplyDeleteI live in an apartment building and the outside is a kind of light tan with blue accents.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty gross tan and brown. It is a rental though so we won't change it.
ReplyDeleteWell, right now it has many different colors as it was never finished in one color after the tornado-- we have been working on the inside, so hopefully next year will be time for the exterior!
ReplyDeleteWhite with green trim...it's UGLY! Hoping to paint it next summer! :)
ReplyDeleteOur home was built in 1891 and over looks the harbour so I thought it was time to change it from the salmon pink it had been for over 80 years to sunny yellow and white. I love it!
ReplyDeleteOur home is a lot of rock and windows...where there is house it's white with green trim.
